Latest News about Christians in Recovery

We some exciting news! Over the past 20 years, the ministry of Christians in Recovery (CIR) has grown tremendously. Just two years ago CIR took under its umbrella Alcoholics Victorious (founded in 1948). As of December 1, 2013 we are pleased to announce we will be working together with TechMission, a leader in technology, addiction recovery and ministry. Both CIR and AV will be programs of TechMission. TechMission also runs City Vision College (administered by Michael Liimatta), which provides bachelor’s degrees in Addiction Studies. This union will strengthen Christians in Recovery, Alcoholics Victorious and TechMission enabling all three organizations to more effectively minister to those in need.

Everyone who works for and volunteers for CIR will maintain their current positions and duties. CIR will continue to be responsible for its own financial well being. Dues and donations to CIR and AV remain critical to both organizations. Donations should be made as usual either online: http://christians-in-recovery.org/Give
or by check or money order made out to Christians in Recovery (or Alcoholics Victorious):

The new address for both Christians in Recovery and Alcoholics Victorious is:

48 Pleasant Street
Dorchester, MA 02125
USA
Fax: 816-256-8471
