For the Christian, all of life’s conditions and circumstances are transformed.
Take the matter of CARE. Every life has “cares.” There are cares in business. There are cares in home-life. There are cares of poverty–but no less has the rich man his cares. Childhood has its anxieties; young faces sometimes appear careworn. No one can escape care!
Ask Angie: I am finding it hard to trust my husband again. We’ve been married for 31 years. this Valentine’s day and in year 28 I found out he was heavily into drugs, which he now claims to be free of, but I still have a hard time believing him because of the extent he wants to hide his use. All the lies, deceit, and now the unwillingness to discuss it with me, leaves me with many unanswered questions.
There are two days in every week about which we should not worry;
Two days which should be kept free from fear and apprehension.

A violent tempered person will pay the penalty; if you effect a rescue, you will only have to do it again. Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom for the future.
Anger, control, and fear all go together. Trust, patience, and kindness go together. However, they rarely mix. In other words, when we are angry or fearful, it is likely that we will be patient or kind.

A false witness will not go unpunished,
and a liar will not escape.
Our mouths get us into more trouble than most other things, particularly if we are the kind of people who consider ourselves to be moral. I mean, we would never consider shooting someone or punching them out. But it’s nothing to gossip about them with a co-worker in a hidden corner. Rather than express our anger and fear to someone else, we need to learn how to pray.
Will I ever get over the affair my husband had a long time ago?
Though it may not seem to be true, with God’s help, you can get past this. I can imagine how hurt and angry you must feel every time you pick at the scab of this wound. But, it is time to let this one heal.
