Service Work is essential to recovery and Christianity. All volunteer opportunities can be done from your own home according to YOUR schedule.

VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED FOR:

• Chats - become a Chat Host
  You can work with a present scheduled chat or volunteer to set up another one.

• The 12th Step Committee This committee works to increase awareness of CIR among the general public as well as recovery, religious and health professionals. It functions to increase CIR membership and to aggressively pursue contributions, gifts and grants to this ministry. • Sponsor Someone You can sponsor someone by becoming the person they are accountable to.

  Post to the Message Boards and let people know you are available.

• Providing a Scholarship Upgrade your Membership to the Barnabas or Foundations Teams and provide a scholarship to CIR for someone experiencing hardship. You can do this for one month or an ongoing basis. Memberships for a specific person can be obtained with a Gift Membership

• Moderating the Message Boards Encourage participation in one of the Message Board Forums. Pick any area of interest and [Contact Us]

• Chat Room Greeter Are you online a lot? Like talking with others and sharing about recovery and your faith? Chat Room Greeters hang out in the CIR chat room to greet new people and help them find their way around CIR. You are also available to other members of CIR who just want to talk in a safe atmosphere. Just go online, log into the chat room. As you do your normal surfing and online activities you will be notified by an bell that someone has entered the chat room. You can then go there to talk with them. • Volunteer Coordinator Do you like working with people? Are you a motivator? CIR needs someone to make sure our volunteer positions are filled and to ensure our volunteers are doing their jobs. [Contact Us]

• Writing Web Site Content If you are good at researching and love to write (especially Bible Studies) this is a position for you! No HTML or programming required.[Contact Us]

• Prayer Warriors We need someone to lead our prayer warriors in the Message Boardsa as well as in a weekly online meeting where you pray for those in CIR. More Information

• Distributing CIR Brochures to your church, recovery group, and colleagues Most people find out about CIR by word of mouth. Help spread the good news about CIR!
