Are You Weak & Weary?

Oh My little ones, hear what I would say to you, and do not allow
My words to fall to the ground. Many of you are weak and weary. You are
battered and bruised, for you have allowed the enemy of your soul to
buffet you about. How, you may ask, has he gained the advantage? By
being allowed to get a foothold in your life. And how has he accomplished
this? Many of you have become stagnate in your walk. You have ceased
to apply My Word to your daily walks.

My people, allow Me to remind you that you are engaged in a battle.
My word says, "For though we walk in the flesh, yet we do not war after
the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but are mighty
to God to the pulling down of stronholds; casting down imaginations and
every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and
bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ."

My people, there are those of you who have allowed Satan to come and
build strongholds in your life. My Word directs you to 'put off the old self
with its deeds, and put on the new self which is being renewed in knowledge
in the image of its Creator." This new self needs constant renewal and
refreshing. This speaks not merely of a one time experience, but refers to an
ongoing process of renewal. Does not My Word say through Paul, "Though
outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day
by day."? And again it says, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind." This is meant to be a continuing
process.

The mind is the control center of your attitudes, thoughts, feelings and
actions. Therefore it is imperative that your mind be transformed and
renewed by the constant reading of My Word, prayer, Christian fellowship
and praise. As this takes place, the strongholds will be demolished; the
footholds will disappear; and you will once again reclaim the spiritual
ground that you unknowingly and unwittingly relinquished. As you fresh
your nature, yielding to the Holy Spirit's sanctifying work, you will
become increasingly like your Lord.
