My people need to be grounded in My Word. For only then will you
be prepared for the deceptions which are soon to come. "Study to show
yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the Word of truth." Only as you familiarize yourself
with My Word will you be equipped to face and refute the heresies that
the coming years will bring. Don't look to your spiritual leaders alone
to keep you safe and secure from deception, but be on the alert yourself.

You are responsible for your spiritual growth and enrichment.
You are to "work out your own salvation with fear and trembling."
You are to read My Word and obey it to the fullest. Don't think or
assume that your pastor or teacher will always be there to point
out that which is evil or that which is false. Yes, they carry a
great responsibility where their sheep are concerned, yet it is not
their sole responsibility to keep the flock safe from the wolf that
scatters and slaughters. You are responsible to heed the warnings,
obey the commandments and walk in the light that they speak into
your life.

Yes, the leadership will be held accountable if they warn you not; but
you will be held accountable if you heed not the warnings when they are
given. Each of you needs to be equipped and dressed out in the armor of
God. Be awake-be alert, and spiritually perceptive, for I tell you of a
surety that heresies, subtle yet devastating, will be coming in from all
sides. WEIGH ALL THINGS; EXAMINE EVERYTHING CAREFULLY AND HOLD
FAST TO THAT WHICH IS GOOD. You can discern between that which is
good and right and that which is evil and false ONLY IF YOU ARE GROUNDED
IN MY TRUTH!

The enemy is ever so crafty, and he will be introducing such smooth
lies and deceptions, that ONLY those who are alert and WALKING IN
THE SPIRIT will recognize them for what they are. Again, I say that the
deceptions will not always be easily recognizable to the natural eye,
and many times the avenue by which it comes will be surprising-yet if
you are reading My Word daily, if you are in continual fellowship with
Me and with your 'spiritual family,' and you are alert and attentive to
what the Spirit speaks; you will not be taken unawares. You will not
only recognize the lies, but I will give you the strength and wisdom to
refute them and expose them for what they really are. Don't be deceived
by the WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING-you will know them by their fruits.
