My people, come into My presence. Come as did Mary of long ago, and sit
at My feet. Choose the good path. Hear My Word, hide it in your heart,
and learn from Me. All else is transitory- all else is of little
consequence and worth when compared to Me and what is done in the
Spirit.
Just what is it that you expend your energies on? What is of importance
to you? Weigh the desires of your heart, that which is of the Spirit and
that which is of the flesh; which side does it tip in favor of? Are you
more concerned with temporal pleasures and rewards; or those which are
eternal and have lasting values?
Once again I remind you that 'the mind set on the flesh is death; but
the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace'. I am not insinuating that
you are to ignore or allow to go unmet the obligations and needs of this
life; but I am encouraging you to focus on Me, rather than the flesh,
allowing Me precedence over all else, and I will see that your needs are
met. Is this not what My Word promises? That if you 'seek first the
kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added
to you.'
There are so many things, so many voices vying for your attention and
concern; yet I tell you that it is imperative that you learn to tune all
else out and instead learn to listen to My still small voice, and follow
My leading. Very often it will seem diametrically opposed to what common
sense or those around you would suggest as the most logical course of
action to take. But I remind you that "My thoughts are not your
thoughts, neither are your ways My ways. For as the heavens are higher
than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts
than your thoughts."
I see the end from the begining, and I alone am Omniscient. Listen for
Me; for I am speaking to My own. Does not My Word say, "My sheep hear My
voice, and I know them, and they follow Me".? You will hear My voice
behind you saying, 'this is the way, walk ye in it,' when you turn to the
left hand or the right. Miss all else, but do not miss My voice!
