Oh My people, weep and mourn for this nation of yours, for truly she
has set herself up for a fall-and her destruction will be complete. For
judgment is coming, and I will not stay My hand any longer. For this
once godly nation has continuously pursued a course of flagrant apostasy
and harlotry, and forthwith she shall be judged accordingly.
Though I have blessed and prospered her, yet she has turned her back
on Me, and My Name is blasphemed in her streets continuously. Though in
love and faithfulness I have, time after time, reproved and chastened
her in hopes of turning her from her evil ways, yet she has responded in
rebellion and been stiff-necked and reckless, abandoning her godly
heritage and choosing instead her spiritual idolatries and her
adulterous ways.
Though because of the faithfulness of My own, and because of the good
that has been wrought for those less fortunate, I stayed My hand of the
judgment which has long been due, yet no longer will I do so. For the
scales have long since tipped in testimony against this nation, and I
will no longer prevent calamity-but I remove My hand of protection, and
proclaim to you now, the coming consequences of her sin.
I call My own to hide yourself in ME, and to reach out and draw as
many as you can into the fold. No longer pray for the salvation of this
nation as a whole, but only for the individual lives of those who know
Me not, for indeed this nation has been judged and found wanting. Yet
My heart is moved within Me for those who do not know Me nor yet
acknowledge Me as Lord-and I would say to My own to reach out as never
before, and I admonish you from My Word to "Preach the Word; be ready in
season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort with great
patience and instruction. For the time will come when they will not
endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will
accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires;
and will turn away their ears from the truth, and will turn aside to
myths.
But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of
an evangelist, fulfill your ministry." For many will yet receive Me as
Lord, and when sorrows are multiplied and calamity strikes, there will
be multitudes looking for the way of salvation, and I would have My own
ready to lead them to Me before it is too late. Pray for discernment,
pray for opportunities, and pray for mercy. "Therefore, be careful how
you walk, not as unwise men, but as wise, making the most of your time,
because the days are evil. So then do not be foolish, but understand
what the will of the Lord is."
